It's one tough cookie, the Hummer of stand mixers- a powerful machine that is built tough and meant for heavy use. This is a commercial grade mixer meant for big batches. With five mixing speeds plus a stir setting, this stand up mixer can do everything from folding walnuts into Mexican wedding cookies to whipping up cardamom cream.
The 325 watt motor sets the beater in a clockwise rotation while moving the shaft counterclockwise. Subsequently, the beater reaches every part of the bowl without requiring the bowl to rotate. The mixer comes with a stainless steel, 5-quart bowl which stands flat on its indented base and features an ergonomic handle.
A professional-style bowl lift raises the bowl into position. It also includes a flat beater, dough hook, and commercial wire whip. With the help of four sealed rubber feet, the mixer stands stably in place. Its 3-wire, 6-foot power cord meets commercial requirements, and, as a safety mechanism, the overload reset button pops out if the mixer is overloaded, and the motor shuts off.
